Dear New Age / Aquarius Age Networker —

"Wonderful, exciting, positive, friendly, clarity, ebullience, historic achievement": First impressions of the Spring Equinox 2000 weekend 17-20 March in the Northern California San Francisco Bay Area which were voiced that Monday during the first full day of the Aquarian Age, at the TV Studio panel discussion in Mountain View on Lance Carter's show.

"Let's do this again next year — same time, same place".

The fabled, long-awaited yet much-dismissed New Age — Aquarius — has arrived "unequivocally", in George Flory's immortal words. On 19 March at 23:35:35 Pacific Time, under a newly full California Moon, the astronomical and scientific certainty of Spring Equinox 2000 was proclaimed through the spirited ringing of bells by Earth Day founder John McConnell at Saint Francis Church and National Shrine in San Francisco. Simultaneously, on the Church front steps, George Flory read "The Unanimous Declaration of the Aquarian Age Network" in which he explained the dramatic importance of now being able to determine the precise astronomical location of the Galactic Center.

(Hawaii Island HI — 19 April '000)

Saturday, before Sunday evening's bell ringing, a Spring Equinox 2000 weekend highlight was the ascent of 1,300-meter Mt. Hamilton, home to the world-class Lick Observatories and tallest point in the Bay Area. Exploring possible sites to secure an Aquarian Age Time Capsule — to be opened at the start of the next New Age, in some 2,160 years, Steve Durst, Lance Carter, Jennifer Valcov and George Flory discovered that a large, 110-year-old vault in the Observatory administration office already was being used to secure a time capsule emplaced by a local school group. Our 5-hour expedition up Mt. Hamilton, was exhilarating with breath-taking views and consideration of several other Time Capsule possible sites.

Monday evening at KMTV Studio in Mountain View (Silicon Valley), a panel of 7 on the Aquarian Age TV Show for about two hours discussed basic questions regarding the New Age: "When? Why? What? Where? How? Who?". Panelists included Ron Lampi, New Age poet; Eric A Meece, Radio host and new millennium astrologer; Tony McGettigan, Divine Science Community Center host; Tim Toribio, panel moderator; George Flory, amateur archeoastronomer; Steve Durst, Aquarius Age educator; and Lance Carlyle Carter, "Sage of Aquarius" and TV producer. The range of information, diversity, and knowledge of the panelists led to much synergy, vitality, and constructive projections. Their careful, tentative venturing — self-conscious of the historic moment — before the cameras and microphones evoked images of the 2001 movie astronauts cautiously posing for a group photo before the cryptic obelisk.

In addition to these three Spring Equinox 2000 weekend highlights — Equinox bell-ringing and declaration, Time Capsule expedition, and Aquarian Age TV Panel Discussion — a variety of other related activities took place around the Bay Area. Friday evening, a well-attended meeting of SHIFT (Sharing Information For Transformation) in Redwood City heard Lance Carter, with thanks to Charles Grotsky, introduce the Spring Equinox weekend's upcoming events and significance for the New Age — Aquarius. Saturday evening, the Divine Science Community Center in San Jose hosted an "Aquarian Equinox 2000" multi-dimensional ceremony and celebration with music, discussion, meditation, interaction. Sunday eve leading up to the Equinox, the "Techno Cosmic Mass" was held in Oakland, as reported by Alan Moore of the Butterfly Garderers Association, Berkeley. Tuesday evening, "Peace the 21st", a cooperative worldwide network of people in over 42 countries, held its quarterly gathering at the Masonic Hall in Menlo Park to visualize and affirm personal and planetary peace. And thoughout the Equinox weekend, "Mission to Mars" was a movie of choice for several Aquarian celebrants.

SPRING EQUINOX WEEKEND 2000 & '001 — NEXT YEAR AGAIN — SAME TIME, SAME PLACE

Looking forward to Spring Equinox weekend 2001 March 16-20, Aquarian Age activities can again highlight the Equinox bell-ringing, Time Capsule expedition and Panel Discussion. The bell-ringing observance and Aquarian declaration could occur simultaneously in San Francisco, in New York at John McConnell's UN Peace Plaza site, and elsewhere across the country and around the world. The Time Capsule project might see formal dedication and emplacement in California, as well as advances with an Aquarian Age Time Capsule for Hawaii, for the Moon, and beyond. The seven KMTV panelists of 20 March 2000 will be joined by possibly 2 or 3 times that number in March 2001, requiring expansion to a full 1 or 2 day Aquarian Age conference. And the Equinox 2001 weekend movie of choice for New Age networkers would clearly be "2001: A Space Odyssey", with a specially-arranged theater presentation featuring the "2010" sequel as well.

To facilitate interaction and progress towards these and other 2001 activities, the upcoming Summer and Winter Solstices, and Fall Equinox in between, provide timely and natural occasions for strenghtening relations and commitments, exchanging ideas and information, and advancing friendships and preparations.

Starting immediately, it is very easy, effective, enjoyable and exciting to begin inviting New Age / Aquarian Age-oriented people — colleagues, friends, relatives: any and all, from all over the country, and the world — to come to California for a great variety of happenings and new beginnings during Spring Equinox weekend 2001. I have already received enthusiastic expressions of interest from extraordinarily dedicated and gifted individuals throughout America and Europe who are planning to be in California, on the great Pacific, to welcome in Spring 2001 — or Spring '001, or year 1 of the Age of Aquarius. We will look forward, inward, outward and upward, and set courses for the first decade — to 2010, 2011, 2012 — of the new century, the new millenium, the New Age.

PS. The Age of Aquarius is as real to me as is today, or tomorrow, or 2001. It is an unprecedented peak and thrill to be conscious of and participating in this epochal "Turning of the Ages". During Spring Equinox 2000 weekend,it was good to see familiar faces and to make new acquaintances

Finally, it was great working with "old" Aquarian Age friends and associates as we transitted through the black hole "Zero point" and welcomed in the New Age. Spring Equinox 2001 weekend should be equally rewarding -- times 10, and more. I look forward to your response and communications. Happy New Age.
